Social Studies Education: A League of Our Own

The South Carolina Council for the Social Studies Annual Conference will be held Friday, 25 September, 2015- Saturday, 26 September 2015 at the Fluor Field in Greenville, SC.

Evening Registration/Reception

- Join us on the Concourse at Fluor Field Thursday evening for early registration and reception
5:30-8:00 PM in Vendor/Exhibitor area. Shop the vendors, visit The Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum or take a free tour of the stadium which is a mini-replica of Fenway Park in Boston. Tours of the stadium will begin at 7:00 or sign up for a Crazy Dash of Greenville ($8) with your fellow colleagues beginning at 7:00 at the field.

- 12:45-1:45- Lunch on the Concourse
- 1:55-4:45 PM-- Concurrent Sessions
- Shop vendors until 5:00
- Another chance to do the Crazy Dash beginning at      5:00.

Seated breakfast to honor award recipients at the Hilton conference hotel
- 10:30-11:30 JDew- "One Voice"  Multimedia Presentation of Important Figures in Black History

* A hotel shuttle will be running at different time intervals starting at 5:10 PM Thursday night and 7:45 AM on Friday morning from the Hilton Greenville to the field.  Limited parking will also be available around Fluor Field.
