GEOFEST 55

GEOFEST is the South Carolina Geographic Alliance's flagship professional development event.  In this day-long mini-conference, participants will hear from speakers, visit with colleagues and vendors, and grow their understanding both of geographic content knowledge and pedagogy.  Our keynote speaker is Dr. Carl Dahlman, director of the Walker Institute at USC.  Dr. Dahlman will walk us through events and issues in different global regions and discuss how they are connected and how we teach our students about our interconnected world.  

Join us for GEOFEST 55 at the Callcott Social Science Center at the University of South Carolina in Columbia on Saturday, February 18 from 9am-3:30pm.  Lunch and materials are provided.
